The salon's story began in 2005 when Wendy Jones established Expressions in Woodhall Spa with two other stylists. Since then, the business has grown and developed into re:new Hair + Beauty by Expressions while retaining its commitment to personal service, professional standards and community.

Wendy Jones is the founder and driving force behind the salon. Her career combines extensive practical hairdressing experience with education, mentoring and support for other professionals. Wendy has been recognised by WELOVE as a Hair Pro Legend.

The WELOVE Gold Standard is a peer-reviewed Legacy Award recognising long-term professional excellence, technical artistry, mentoring, ethical leadership and contribution to the hair industry. Wendy Jones and the re:new team officially received this distinction in 2026.
