Your treatment journey
01
What is the occasion?
A wedding needs a trial. A Friday blow-dry does not. We will tell you which is which.
02
Condition first
If your hair needs a treatment to hold a style, we would rather do that than fight it.
03
Making it last
How to sleep on it, what to use, and how to revive it on day three.
GLOWWA
Hair health from the inside
We stock GLOWWA, a British supplement brand made for hair wellness — Hair Food and their Collagen Creamer, which mixes into coffee, tea or a smoothie.
Supplements are not a substitute for good haircare, and we will always say so. But if your hair has changed with stress, illness or the menopause, it is worth a conversation.
Frequently asked questions
What professional hair cutting and styling services do you offer at re:new?+
re:new Hair + Beauty in Woodhall Spa offers professional haircuts, trims, restyles, blow-dries, styled finishes and hair-up services for everyday confidence and special occasions. Check our current price list or speak to reception to book the correct service.
Will my appointment begin with a consultation?+
Yes. Your stylist will discuss your hair, usual routine, previous cut or style and what you would like to achieve. We will also consider how much time you want to spend maintaining and styling your hair at home before making a recommendation.
What is the difference between a trim and a restyle?+
A trim maintains your existing shape while removing unwanted length and refreshing the ends. A restyle involves a more significant change to the length, shape, layering or overall appearance. Please tell reception if you want a major change so enough appointment time can be booked.
Can you help me choose a haircut that suits me?+
Yes. Your stylist can recommend a cut by considering your hair's texture, density, natural movement and growth patterns, alongside your facial features, personal style and daily routine. The aim is to create a result that remains manageable away from the salon.
Will a hairstyle from a photograph look exactly the same on me?+
A photograph is a useful starting point, but the result will be influenced by your individual hair, including its texture, density, condition and natural movement. Your stylist will explain what is realistically achievable and suggest ways to adapt the inspiration to suit you.
Do you cut and style curly or naturally textured hair?+
Our stylists work with a range of hair textures. Please explain your curl pattern, current routine and usual styling method when booking. This helps reception choose the most appropriate stylist and allow the right amount of appointment time.
Can the right haircut help fine or thick hair?+
Yes. The right shape and layering can help fine hair appear fuller and create movement. A carefully planned cut can also remove unwanted bulk and make thick hair easier to manage. Your stylist will assess your individual hair before recommending an approach.
What is included in a professional blow-dry?+
A professional blow-dry normally includes cleansing and conditioning followed by styling with a brush and hairdryer. Your stylist will discuss whether you prefer a smooth finish, additional volume, movement or curls before selecting suitable products and techniques.
How long will my professional blow-dry last?+
This varies according to your hair, chosen finish, weather, activity and aftercare. Some hair holds volume or curls longer than others. Your stylist can recommend suitable products and explain how to help protect the finished style at home.
Do you offer hair-up styling for special occasions?+
Yes. Hair-up and occasion styling can be booked for celebrations and special events. Tell reception the date, occasion, hair length and type of style you are considering so the correct appointment time and stylist can be arranged.
How should I prepare for an occasion-hair appointment?+
Ask reception whether you should arrive with freshly washed, dry hair or whether preparation is included. Bring photographs of styles you like and any headpiece, decorative pins or accessories you would like incorporated. This helps your stylist plan the finished look.
Can you style hair extensions?+
Tell reception before booking if you wear permanent, temporary or clip-in extensions. The stylist may need additional time and must confirm that the requested service is suitable. If clip-in pieces will be used, bring them to any consultation and the styling appointment.
Can I add a professional hair treatment to my appointment?+
A suitable treatment may be added when enough appointment time is available. Your stylist can assess concerns such as dryness, damage, lack of moisture or reduced manageability and recommend an appropriate option. Mention this when booking rather than waiting until the appointment.
